Paramore Reschedules Concert Due To COVID

“Due to a case of COVID-19 within the touring party, we will be rescheduling our show on Thursday, October 20 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles,” said the group in an Official Instagram account story.

But the rock trio has also given its LA fans good news saying the  “show will now be on Monday, October 31.”

Paramore has said that tickets for the canceled Thursday concert will remain valid come October 31. Those that are unable to make it on that day can get their money refunded through the 25th of October, according to the Instagram story.

Meanwhile, Paramore is set to perform the first weekend of their When We Were Young fest in Vegas on Sunday and Saturday. After that the band will come to LA for a different show on October 27 inside the Belasco theater, and come back to Vegas for a set on Saturday (the second weekend of the fest), and then move to the Wiltern.

Paramore will continue its tour through Toronto, New York, Chicago, and Oklahoma City. Their last tour stop this year will be the Orpheum Theater, located in Omaha, Neb.

Paramore isn’t the only band canceling tours. Car Seat Headrest’s Will Toledo announced on Tuesday that the band won’t be appearing for When We Were Young. He also said the band won’t go through with its intended California tour.

“After another month of struggling to regain my health, I am currently forced to face the fact that my body lacks the basic levels of functionality necessary to leave the house most days, let alone embark on a tour,” Toledo wrote on Instagram. This update came a month following a similar announcement by Toledo regarding a September New Jersey show.

“Due to continued health issues, we will be unable perform at next week’s Frantic City Fest,” he said on Instagram.  “I deeply regret having to pull out, & remain in hope that these issues will be resolved without further cancellations.”
